18 Squadron was formed at Northolt on 11th May 1915 as part of the Royal Flying Corps. An impressive collection of Battle Honours were granted for their operations during the First World War.
18 Squadron arrived at Wattisham in December 1941 flying Blenheims Mk.IVs.
During 1942 18 Squadron departed Wattisham, bound for North Africa.
